I like old school and prefer offering simple services to my customers. I don;t offer a million products for dirt cheap and you don't expect that from me. I offer great optical welding glass made by me alone at a fair price; no more, no less. SIMPLE AS THAT.
I offer 4 different types of lenses at my store - Auto's, (but I won;t keep those long) Good lenses, Better Lenses, or The Best Lenses. You can directly add it to the cart and place your order, or you can send me an email if you are willing to get a customized order. You can also call me, but I usually miss phone calls at the store due to volume of work and noise in the shop.
2 and 3-pane lenses can take from a few days to a couple of weeks to wait to reach, so you will have to be patient. It depends on how many orders I have.
If you notice a goof-up AFTER I've made your order and sent out your lenses (IE: wrong lens, wrong address, wrong shade), that's your problem, but I can do a single exchange*. If a lens gets delivered to the wrong address without you having notified me of a change BEFORE I ship it, that is not my responsibility. I will do my best to look at the tracking and show that it was delivered to the address you provided. I will ensure the best services from my end, but I will not be able to send another lens. I can edit addresses so PLEASE check the ship to address and order details BEFORE confirming the order. (* See exchange details)
Yes, being handmade lenses, you should expect to wait a little while to get one. I precisely prepare every order. So it can take as long as 2 -3 weeks to get your hands on one of my lenses. I assure you, it will be worth the wait. However, for the "Good" lenses, a day or 2 is all I need to get them out the door.
Yes, I can and will edit shipping addresses; but only if you catch it before I've printed your shipping label and ready to ship your lens. Sometimes I print labels a couple of days in advance, and you can catch them just before I send them out, but don't take the chance. I request you double-check your address before finalizing the payment.
If you think you may be moving job sites or dragging to a different job before you can get your lens, have it sent to someone, you trust (your family, friends, neighbor) or sent to your home if you're on a job site. Yes, I guarantee your lens will arrive pristine and ready to work. But beyond that, I am not responsible for it. I don't offer a warranty for my products.
Once you receive the order, you have 3 days (minus Sundays and holidays) to return it. I will grant you one exchange within 3 days only when the product is undamaged and has a note stating the problem and your exchange request.
If you find you ordered the wrong shade or the wrong lens, I'll let you exchange it once. If there's a cost difference and the lens you want is more expensive, you have to pay the difference first, and you have to cover the shipping cost of the exchange—both the original lens back to me and the new one back to you. If the exchanged lens is not carefully and well packaged and arrives broken or damaged, I will refuse the package and not exchange it, and it will be sent back.
Please don't send me a broken, busted, scratched, chipped, or pitted lens, and expect to get a perfect and pristine one in return. That won't happen. I'll send it right back. If you decide you want a less expensive lens in exchange, I'll partially refund you the difference after receiving the more expensive lens and inspecting it, and I'll cover the shipping cost for your new one. But the refund will not be the exact total of the cost difference due to shipping costs.
